Classrooms were heavily affected but because of quick thinking by the school damage was minimized.

It was a normal Friday at the local college, classes were almost finished for the day and faculty was getting ready to head home. One of the maintenance men noticed a pump from the water tank was showing low pressure and as a back up two more pumps came online to make up the difference. What was happening?
